Kirk Hemphill

Brother Hemphill believed in adhering to the core values and principles within our Creed; so much so that the theme for his first year was  “The Rededication To Our Pledge And Tasks”. He started a tradition of reciting our Mission & Vision statement at the beginning of every meeting as a reminder of our purpose and goals. He felt it was essential to maintain a spirit of fraternity and reclaim as many Brothers as possible. To assist with this re-engagement effort a reclamation dues discount level was created.
#kirk Polemarch Hemphill raised the Benchmark bar by implementing a strategic plan for the chapter, hosting Black & White in our own building, starting the Benchmark Academy for new initiates, having the chapters first Kappa League Beautillion, bringing back the Benchmark Newsletter, making the 1st Saturday of every month Kappa Paraphernalia Day, and was determined to have a bigger impact/presence in the community by having the chapter participate in community service every month while also sometimes partnering with other greeks to do so.
